Istria is an undiscovered gem. The port town of Rovinj, nestled against the Adriatic, has never failed to revive my connection with all things whole and transform me back to calm, clarity and control. I want to share its wondrous beauty and our best work with you.

A long time in the making, we are thrilled to launch a Prohab retreat finally! With a programme focused on personal transformation, rejuvenation, exceptional food, the experience delivers a holistic science-based approach to feeling well, growing stronger and living longer.

Over four days, our programme is specifically designed to help you UNDO London (not all of it just the stressy bits) and re-connect your healthier self.
We are going to teach you the tools to change your relationship with stress forever. While unpacking stress, you will also discover its links to both health and longevity. Most importantly, you will leave knowing how to increase your ‘health-span’ over your life journey. We are going to live longer than ever before. Some of us are going to remain healthy too.

Rest deeply, breath again and recharge your body, mind and spirit.

Our UWJ private chef, Albi Ison, will be joining us. Istria was one of the breadbaskets of ancient Rome, and its foodie traditions are still thriving today. Albi will teach you how to create delicious meals from market to plate. Every step of the food journey provides an incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in using food as medicine. You will learn why and how to manipulate your plate to burn fat, heal faster and live longer.

The food journey culminates in an outdoor feast at a beautiful hilltop villa overlooking ancient olive groves and vineyards. Wow, take me there now!

Friday – ROVINJ Programme: Breathe and Rest

  • 7:00 – 7:30 – Run / Paddle / Swim / PT with Tom / One to One work with Carlyle.
  • 8:00 – 8:30 AM – Tea + Light Breakfast.
  • 10-11 AM – Farmers Market Visit: Guided by Albi Ison (Source ingredients for Villa).
  • 11:30-1:00 PM – Ocean Walk – Free Time. 
  • 1:30-3:00 PM – Lunch Rovinj.
  • 3:00-4:30 PM – Workshop: Stress health and longevity: Carlyle.
  • 5:00-7:30 PM – Run / Massage / One to One work with Carlyle.
  • 8:00-9:30 PM – Dinner at Restaurant Rovinj.
  • 9:30 PM – Melegran Bar Mind/Body Nightcap Carlyle and TBA.

Saturday – ADRIATIC Programme.  Istria from the Sea.

  • 6:30-7:00AM – Run / Paddle / Swim / PT with Tom / One to One work with Carlyle.
  • 7:30-8:00 AM – Tea + Light Breakfast.
  • 9:00 – 11:30 AM – Free time – One to One with Carlyle.
  • 11:30AM-3:00 PM – Boat trip with lunch included.
  • 4:00-7:30 PM – Free Time / Massage.
  • 7:30-9:00 PM – Rovinj Dinner – Stories and Insights.
  • 9:00-11:00 PM – Melegran bar: TBA.

Sunday – HILLTOP VILLA Programme: Move. Be in the land, be in your body.

  • 6:30-7:00AM – Run / Paddle / Swim / PT with Tom / One to One work with Carlyle.
  • 7:30-8:00 AM – Tea + Light Breakfast.
  • 9:00 AM – Transfer & morning hike to Grojzean & Villa. 90 mins. Moderate intensity.
  • 11:30-1:00 PM – Vineyard/Olive Grove visit / Lounge at Villa / Help Albi Prepare.
  • 1:00-2:30 PM – Lunch: Hilltop Villa prepared by Albi Ison.
  • 2:30-4:30 PM – Villa Workshop: Science of living longer and how to apply it. Carlyle.
  • 5:00-6:30 PM – Return to Rovinj: Free Time / Massage.
  • 7:30-9:00 PM – Dinner (if needed) Stories and Insights.
  • 9:00-11:00 PM – Melegran bar. Close out celebration and music.

Monday – Departure

  • 7:00-8:00 AM – Light Breakfast.
  • 8:15-9:45 AM – Morning Catch-up.
  • 10:00 AM – Check Out.

What to bring? 

  • Trainers or good walking shoes.
  • Personal day bag or backpack (10-20 liters).
  • Weatherproof jacket for getting stuck in no matter what nature throws at us.
  • Sun cream. Istria can be hot even early season.
  • Swimwear. Morning Adriatic swims are not for everyone as sea temp is nippy
  • but Villa pool is heated.
  • Hat and clothes suitable for outdoor walks.
  • Comfortable dining clothes. No dress code in the evenings.
  • Something to read that is not work-related.

Rovinj does not have its own international airport but there are plenty that get you close.
